Internships and Fellowships


The First Division Museum offers paid internships in multiple departments. We currently have two openings for 200-hour internships to be completed May-August. Please select a position below to read its descriptions and requirements.

Time Commitment

The Museum is flexible on start/end dates, hours per week, and days per week. A typical internship is at least 100 hours over 3-4 months.


All Interns earn $10.00 per hour.

The First Division Museum at Cantigny offers research fellowships to history majors, graduate students, doctoral candidates and post-doctoral scholars. Fellowships will be decided on the basis of using the history of the 1st Infantry Division to further the Museum's mission, among other things. Applicants must submit a detailed research proposal, a CV and at least one letter of recommendation from the scholar's current professor, faculty advisor or department chair.
