The library, archive and photo collections are held in the Colonel Robert R. McCormick Research Center. These collections are particularly strong in personal memorabilia, unit histories, and official documents. For more information, please contact Eric Gillespie, Director of the Colonel Robert R. McCormick Research Center, at 630.260.8186 or egillespie@firstdivisionmuseum.org.

We rely on the generosity of veterans, families and friends to donate objects that bring to life the history and stories of the men and women who served with the 1st Infantry Division in the general context of American military history. Carefully preserved and expertly maintained, your donated artifacts help ensure that the Big Red One’s story continues to be told and is never forgotten. For more information, contact Bill Brewster, Curator of Collections at 630.260.8220 or bbrewster@firstdivisionmuseum.org.
