50 and Forward

We are proud to announce that 2010 marks the 50th anniversary of the opening of the First Division Museum at Cantigny. On August 20, 1960 the museum opened its doors to the public in what is now the Visitors Center before moving to its present location in 1992. To celebrate, the First Division Museum is planning a series of events August 17-21 to commemorate its anniversary as well as the 40th anniversary of the division’s return from Vietnam.

11am, 12, 1, 2 & 3pm Animal Adventures: Interact with exotic animals that soldiers find all over the world, including a Fennec Fox, Burmese Python, Black-Throat Monitor, Wallaby, Kinkajou, and more! (30 minute show)
