    Battlefield Nursing: Medics in Iraq

    Captain Jody Schroeder and Lieutenant Colonel John Groves will speak on their experiences as battlefield nurses in Iraq. Captain Schroeder was a nurse on the first invasion of Iraq with the 1st Division 1st Brigade. Lieutenant Colonel Groves completed a yearlong tour of duty with the 10th Combat Support Hospital in Iraq as the emergency department head nurse during which time CNN and National Geographic featured the emergency care delivered there. He has over 20 years of clinical, educational and managerial experience with a BA from Indiana University and an MA from University of Kentucky.
