Join us this September as we recognize the highest U.S. military decoration with an evening with photographer Nick Del Calzo and Medal of Honor recipient Allen Lynch for a discussion on Del Calzo's book as well as what is truly meant by "Valor beyond the call of duty."
A book signing will follow. Books will be for sale for $45.00.
Medal of Honor: Portraits of Valor Beyond the Call of Duty by Peter Collier and Photographer Nick Del Calzo gives a personal look into the lives and actions of the remaining Medal of Honor recipients. From the German minefields of World War II to the intense fire fights of Vietnam each profile includes photos and post service career information on each vetaran.

So that the Medal of Honor recipients can enjoy their brief time at the park on Sept. 19th, there will not be a formal book signing event as implied on our recent postcard.
We are sorry for any inconvenience. Please feel free to come to Cantigny Park to hear the U.S. Army Chorus perform at 11:00, pay your respects to the Medal of Honor recipients and attend the National POW/MIA Recognition Day observance with them at 1:30 PM.
U.S. Army Chorus Concert

Enjoy a free concert at the steps of the First Division Museum from the U.S. Army Chorus! Because this is an outdoor concert feel free to bring your own folding chairs or blankets.
