“July 18, 1918. The infantry went over the top and are still going. July 19. Hauled rifle amm for the inf. It was pretty hot up there. Brought back wounded. July 20. Still hauling about the same thing as yesterday. July 21. We capture the bosh artillery and horses. July 22. We got Soissons city today and a great many prisoners. July 23. We are still hauling amm. & wounded. July 24. We have got the bosh on the run toward Berlin for sure.”
