Cpl. Alfred S. Buhl

“German batteries opened up a barrage on us. They used 16 batteries, 64 guns, on us all at once on a Mill front lasting for 50 minutes. They raided our first platoon about 50 yards from us killing 3, wounded 7, and captured 11 men. The 3 men killed were Enright, Gresham, and Hay.”
